What Does SSJL Mean?
The name SSJL stands for “Skate Strong, Jump Limitless.” It’s more than just four letters—it’s a philosophy that reflects the energy, resilience, and freedom skateboarding inspires. Every board, wheel, and accessory we sell is tied to this belief: that the skatepark isn’t just a place to ride, but a place to push boundaries, connect with community, and tell your story.
Our Story
Geedxy LLC started as a small idea in Boulder—a city known for its adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. We noticed a gap in the market: skateboarding products that weren’t just durable and functional, but also represented the artistry and culture of skateboarding. From this vision, SSJL.shop was born.
While the brand is young, it’s fueled by a deep commitment to skateboarding culture. Our fictional backstory (that we love to embrace) is that the very first SSJL board was sketched on a napkin at a late-night café by a group of friends dreaming about the perfect ride. That dream has since evolved into a brand built to support skaters worldwide.
Our Business Model
We operate primarily as a direct-to-consumer online store, cutting out unnecessary middlemen so we can deliver affordable, high-quality skateboarding products directly to you. By staying close to our customers and listening to the skating community, we’re able to constantly refine our products and keep our focus on performance and creativity.
